The Duffield Shopper Special offers a wonderfully nostalgic way to travel, with the journey made aboard one of our heritage Diesel Multiple Units (DMUs). Settle into your seat at Wirksworth and enjoy a leisurely ride along the Ecclesbourne Valley, taking in the views through the large windows as the train makes its way through the Derbyshire countryside to Duffield. Unlike simply driving into the village, the DMU makes the journey part of the experience. After arriving at Wirksworth, you’ll have time to explore the town and of course, the Farmers’ Market. Your ticket entitles you to any train back to Duffield.
