About the Event

The Vintage Road and Rail Event at Wirksworth Station features classic road transport from before 1986 including cars, lorries, buses and traction engines on display for a nostalgic trip to the past. Steam and diesel trains will be playing their part too making it a true vintage transport day out.

Bookings are now closed for vehicle entries.

The event is organised with the grateful thanks of our friends at Vallances Coaches.

Car Parking

The vintage road exhibits will be on display in the car park at Wirksworth Station and as such there will be no public parking at Wirksworth station. We kindly ask that blue badge holders begin their day at Duffield* which has step-free access to the platform (DE56 4EQ).
