Teddy Bear’s Picnic
4 May – 10:15 am - 5:00 pm
We’re looking forward to our Teddy Bears Picnic-themed day on Bank Holiday Monday 4 May, which will feature our steam train pulling our restored heritage carriages.
We will have various children’s activities going on around the station, including:
- Children travel free on the train if they bring their favourite bear
- Child friendly trail
- Play Zone at Wirksworth (toys and books will be in the gazebo and shelter on Platform 1)
- Picnic & Play Zone at Duffield Station (picnic blankets/benches and toys on the lawn)
- Children’s picnic bags available to purchase at the Station Café and Kiosk
We’re also running our Tea & Cake offer for £20 per fare-paying customer. No need to book ahead just turn up on the day and when you have made you purchase at the ticket office you will receive your voucher for a hot drink and slice of cake.
