Wirksworth Festival is taking place from 11-20 September and over the weekend of the 12th & 13th we will be taking part in the Art & Architecture Trail.
The Art & Architecture Trail involves people opening their homes to turn the town into a multifaceted gallery with over 140 artists and makers exhibiting and selling their work in more than 70 venues.
The exhibition spaces include stone cottages, impressive Georgian townhouses, historic and quirky buildings, gardens, courtyards, shop windows, civic buildings and churches.
Our dedicated Festival Special Rail & Trail trains will depart from Duffield at 9.27am and 12.03pm, to bring you right into the heart of the festival; your ticket includes return travel and admission to the Festival.
In addition to the festive specials, we will also be running our regular services.
There will be live entertainment on board both Festival Special Rail & Trail trains (more details to follow).
We will also have two static coaches on Platform 3 for festival artists to display their work.
