Teddy Bears Picnic and our with Tea & Cake offer Monday 31 August

Our next Teddy Bears Picnic-themed day will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 31 August, featuring our steam train pulling our restored heritage carriages.

We will have various children’s activities, including a child-friendly trail, play and picnic zones at Wirksworth (picnic blankets/benches and toys on the lawn), picnic bags available to buy on the day and children travel free if they bring their favourite bear.

We will also be running our Tea & Cake offer for £20 per fare-paying customer (which includes a return journey between Wirksworth and Duffield).

No need to book ahead just turn up on the day and when you have made you purchase at the ticket office you will receive your voucher for a hot drink and slice of cake (2 U15s travel free per fare-paying adult).
