For two exclusive dates only, visitors can enjoy a return journey from Wirksworth to Duffield hauled by a heritage locomotive, followed by a scenic tour through the local countryside aboard a vintage bus.
This is a rare opportunity to combine two classic forms of transport in one memorable day: the charm of a traditional railway journey and the character of vintage road travel through the beautiful Derbyshire scenery.
At the end of the experience, visitors can continue their journey into the past with a visit to the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway’s museum and book shop. Explore regional railway memorabilia, browse the collection of railway publications available to purchase, and take time to enjoy the wider heritage of the line and the people who helped shape it.

- Train Times: Departs 10.15am from Wirksworth Station, returning at 12.00pm
- Bus Times: Departs 1.00pm from Wirksworth Station, returning around 2pm

Tickets are priced at £29.95 per person and there are just 30 tickets available for each Heritage Day, so early booking is strongly recommended.
