Jolly Fisherman Train
After an immersive day at the Summer Diesel Gala, sit back and relax as you enjoy two return journeys on the Ecclesbourne Vally Railway’s Jolly Fisherman Train, hauled by our visiting class 20 (20166).
At Duffield you can choose either fish and chips or sausage and chips, which you can enjoy as you travel back to Wirksworth.
There will be a fully licensed bar on board with a selection of real ales, ciders and lagers, and there will also be our limited edition blonde ale that we have had produced specially for the gala weekend.
Called Chopper Hopper, it’s a lightly hopped blonde ale (4.5% ABV) and one that we’re sure you will enjoy.
The cost is just £19.95 per person or stay all day and upgrade your Day Rover ticket for £14.95.
Departure for this unique experience is 6pm from Wirksworth on Saturday 8 August.
