One amazing event, one ticket, two railways!

The Ecclesbourne Valley Railway and Peak Rail are once again joining forces to put on a great show: The Twin Peaks Diesel Gala returns for 2026,

Named in reference to and the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway’s location in the White Peak area of the Derbyshire Dales and Peak Rail’s proximity to the Peak District National Park, the event will be a showcase of heritage diesel locomotives on both railways.

The event will feature a special interconnecting heritage bus service enabling passengers to seamlessly travel the short distance between the two heritage railways, so that they can travel on both railways with one inclusive ticket.
