Vintage Road & Rail Rally — Wirksworth Station

We’re excited to welcome visitors back to the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway Vintage Road & Rail Rally, a full day celebrating the golden age of transport.
This year’s event offers an impressive mix of historic vehicles, heritage displays, and classic engineering for all ages.

What to Expect
Visitors can enjoy a wide range of vintage and heritage attractions, including:

- Steam vehicles moving around the station
- Vintage lorries and cars, restored and displayed by their owners
- Classic tractors and motorcycles
- Heritage trains running throughout the day
- Fairground organ music creating a lively atmosphere
- Transport memorabilia, local history displays, and specialist exhibitions
- Possible BBMF Flypast (to be confirmed)
Parking Information
Please note: There will be no parking available at Wirksworth Station on the day of the event due to exhibition space requirements.
Event parking will be available at:
- Haarlem Mill, DE4 4BG
- TDP Factory Car Park (same postcode)
Both sites are a short distance from the station.
If you’re travelling from Duffield, there is parking at Duffield Station, DE56 4EQ
Free Vintage Shuttle Bus
A free vintage bus service will run regularly between the event car parks and Wirksworth Station all day, allowing visitors to arrive easily and enjoy a nostalgic journey to the rally.
This event is organised by Vallances Coaches, a family-run business based in Mansfield.
