For Easter Sunday we are delighted to offer our fabulous roast lunch, which starts with a welcome glass of Prosecco, followed by a delicious 3-course meal
Our Easter Sunday Roast Lunch starts with a welcome glass of Prosecco as you board the train, before being taken to your own table in our beautifully restored steam-hauled heritage carriages.
As with all our dining experiences, you are allocated your own private table, or compartment, which can accommodate up to four guests, and you’ll never have to share with other customers.
Then sit back, unfold your linen napkin and peruse the drinks list as you watch the unspoilt countryside of the Ecclesbourne Valley slip gently by.
During the 90-minute return journey, we’ll serve our freshly prepared three course luncheon comprising:
Starter
Tomato & Basil Soup with a bread roll
Main Course
Roast Topside of Derbyshire Beef, served with Derbyshire puddings, roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables & a side of gravy
Vegetarian Option
Beetroot Wellington, with roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables & gravy
Desserts
Lindt Milk Chocolate Cheesecake or Pear & Almond Frangipane Tart
Followed by Tea or Coffee & Mints
