DESCRIPTION:The EVR is always looking for more people to join our ranks to help us continue to grow. \nOur volunteers come from a wide range of backgrounds and we are proud to have people of all ages working on our railway – from newly passed guards\, to experienced ex-mainline footplate men who have worked around trains for decades – everyone is welcome and appreciated. \nFrom 10am to 3pm\, you will be able to find out about all the volunteering opportunities at EVR and talk to those who are already involved. \n\nDriver for a fiver\nTours of the railway yard\nGuards taster experience\n\nRepresentatives from every department will be available to talk about the different roles and will explain that no matter what skills new volunteers\, they would be able to put them to great use. \nThere will be various stalls\, with refreshments available in the cafe and Apollo Bar.
