Service Information - Public Statement
In response to the Government’s recommendations with regard to COVID-19, the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway has taken the decision to suspend services until the end of April.
Like all other organisations in the heritage railway sector, we will continue to review conditions on a daily basis and, as the situation develops.
We are contacting all customers who have advance bookings and look forward to the resumption of services.

Derbyshire Countryman Dining
Customers are advised that we are monitoring government guidlines and will make a decision nearer the time. Services will be diesel hauled as the steam locomotive is not able to visit. Customers wishing to transfer their booking to a later date or exchange their booking for an e-voucher may do so.
The railway will honour Groupon vouchers for a period of 6 months from the date of contact to us by way of exchange for Advance Day Rover e-tickets.
Customers wishing to take advantage of this offer should e-mail us with the following information:
- Your name
- The e-mail address you wish for your replacement e-ticket to be sent to
- The Security Code from the voucher
We will then redeem your voucher and send our replacement tickets which can be used for one day of travel on the railway up until the expiry date shown on them. The same terms as your Groupon voucher apply - not to be used on Derbyshire Countryman dining services, Santa Experience trains or evening specials.

The railway would like to encourage customers to take advantage of this offer as soon as possible without waiting until near to the voucher expiration to assist us during this difficult period of trading.
