will be a special weekend of steam locomotive operation at the
railway. The Ecclesbourne Valley Railway Association hope to
unveil Ferrybridge No.3 "Wee Yorkie" for operation for the first
time, subject to completion. Open 10:00 to 17:00 each day.

will be a special day to mark the 10th birthday of volunteers
beginning the clearance of the railway. The day will include
services to both Idridgehay using our visiting steam locomotive
as well as Ravenstor. In the evening there will be live bands

Annual
Wirksworth Model Railway Exhibition |

At the Wirksworth Town Hall and other venues around the town as
well as Wirksworth Station. Fares TBA. The Annual Model
Railway Exhibition will take place at various venues are the
town. The "Big Trains" will play their part at the railway. Open
10:00 to 17:00 Saturday and 10:00am to 16:30 Sunday.

Wirksworth Carnival Firework Extravaganza Special Trains |

Special trains will run on Saturday evening between Wirksworth
and Ravenstor to connect with the grand Firework Extravaganza
which will be held in the ground of the
National Stone Centre from 19:00.

The railway will be operating trains on demand in connection
with the annual Christmas Extravaganza taking place in
Wirksworth town.

At Wirksworth Station. Fares TBA. Join Santa and his
little helpers for a festive time. Presents and drinks for the
kids, Mulled wine and mince pies for the adults. Advanced

(available from the station).
