Shottle Station

Currently a future target, Shottle holds a mass of potential. The station house is currently owned and used by Peak Oil who, thankfully, are keeping it in excellent condition.

Shottle will be a great halt for visitors to leave the train and visit one of the wonderful local pubs in the area.

The station is situated on the main road between Belper and Ashbourne adjacent to Cower's Lane cross-roads. The station is currently in accessible but can be viewed from the bridge immediately to the south of the station.

Not only is the station and its building still in tact, but the remains of Shottle railway yard are still there. We intend to create small sidings there once again and also create a run-around loop past the station.
